Meet Ryan Murphy
Ryan began his professional IT career in 2000. Taking an early interest in computers as a youth, Ryan has experienced the evolution of IT and its implementation into our everyday lives, especially in every successful business in the world today. After high school, Ryan attended The Pennsylvania State University where he achieved a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Sciences and Technology. This degree set the foundation for a successful career in IT services and the beginnings of MurphTech today. Stepping back, Ryan’s entry-level position was with EarthCam in 2008. It brought him into the working world during one of the toughest financial times in history. Quickly seizing the next opportunity, Ryan moved into a position supporting the IT department at the Lincoln Park Care Center in Lincoln Park, NJ. It did not take long for him to accelerate to the position of Director of IT. While Director of IT at the care center, Ryan supported a campus with over 700 beds and implemented technology to all staff across the board from executive positions to nursing and security. Ryan’s next IT venture began in the consulting world with a growing field called MSP, where he learned the skills to service clients’ needs and wants while supporting their dynamic requests on a budget. This naturally led to the evolution and launch of his own IT consulting company – MurphTech. Ryan has built the skills and knowledge to support your business. Not only has he run a corporate IT department and mastered camera delivery systems, but he has also supported a variety of companies without IT departments looking for custom-built, outsourced IT within their budgets.
